Welcome to Make Believe in Stevenage!
Since their humble beginnings in 2004 with just 5 students, Make Believe Stevenage have blossomed into a network of over 55 schools, nurturing the talents of more than 3000 students.
They are thrilled to announce the launch of Make Believe Stevenage on 12th May at Longmeadow Primary School, where they will welcome 50 talented students to embark on an exciting journey of performing arts.
“Our goal is not just to teach singing, dancing, and acting,” says Hannah Tucker, “but to instill confidence in every child who walks through our doors. As a primary school teacher with a passion for the arts, I understand the transformative power of creativity and self-expression.”
Make Believe has been a part of Hannah’s own family for two years now, and she has witnessed first hand the incredible growth and confidence it has instilled in her own child.
Looking ahead, this performing arts school in Stevenage has exciting plans to expand their reach into Stevenage schools with after-school clubs, providing even more children with the opportunity to discover and develop their talents.
“In 2025, we aim to dazzle audiences with a grand production at the Milfield Theatre, showcasing the hard work and dedication of our students.” says Hannah proudly.
Make Believe are eager to collaborate with the Stevenage council to bring joy and festivities to the community through Christmas launches and more. Stay tuned for updates and details as they work towards making a positive impact beyond the stage.
Join Make Believe every Sunday from 10 am to 1 pm at Longmeadow Primary School as they embark on this exciting journey together.
Let’s create magical moments, build lasting friendships, and nurture the stars of tomorrow.
