Fairlands Valley Park offers lots of activities for visitors of all ages to enjoy. Here are some things you can do at Fairlands Valley Park.

Cycling

At the centre of the lakes you will find Stevenage Cycling Hub. This is a hive of activity for all cyclists in, seasoned and new. They provide bike hire, social rides and training and are open 9:30am til 4pm every Saturday. As well as hiring bikes out, they have a small selection for sale and will also take donations. Water Sports

Fairlands Valley Park is renowned for its expansive lakes, which provide the perfect setting for a variety of water sports activities. Try your hand at sailing, windsurfing, or kayaking, and feel the thrill of gliding across the water under the open sky. A popular choice with schools, you will often find a hub of activity on the lakes especially in the summer months.

Fishing

Cast your line and enjoy a relaxing day of fishing in one of Fairlands Valley Park’s well-stocked lakes. With plenty of designated fishing spots and a diverse range of fish species, it’s the ideal destination for both seasoned anglers and beginners alike. Walking and Running

Lace up your walking/running shoes explore the park’s scenic trails and pathways. With miles of winding paths that meander through woodlands, meadows, and alongside tranquil lakes, Fairlands Valley Park offers endless opportunities for outdoor adventure and exploration and is a popular destination for our running clubs; Stevenage Phoenix, Fairlands Valley Spartans and Stevenage Striders.

Picnicking

Gather your friends and family for a leisurely picnic in one of Fairlands Valley Park’s designated picnic areas. Spread out a blanket, amidst the natural beauty of the park.

Playgrounds and Play Areas

Let the little ones burn off energy at Fairlands Valley Park’s playgrounds and play areas. With climbing frames, slides, and swings, there’s plenty to keep children entertained for hours on end. Including the Splash Park and Zip wire!
