We’re gearing up for a busy few months with exciting plans to support our community and local businesses. Here’s what we have lined up:

September: The Importance of Writing a Will

As the new school term starts and routines settle, it’s the perfect time to think about your family’s future. Our September will focus on the importance of writing a Will. Protecting your children and ensuring their future is secure should be a top priority, and a well-prepared Will can help with that.

We’ll be sharing tips and advice on why now is a great time to review or create your Will. Topics will include choosing the right Executors and Guardians, and appointing Trustees to manage your children’s finances. These decisions are crucial in making sure your wishes are respected and your loved ones are cared for. You can follow us here for all the latest updates on will writing in Stevenage.

Hosting Stevenage Business Buzz: Bringing Local Businesses Together

We’re thrilled to announce that A.R.K Lasting Powers & Wills is taking over the hosting of Stevenage Business Buzz, a monthly networking event held at the Drapers Arms in Stevenage. This event is a fantastic opportunity for local businesses to come together, share ideas, and support each other. Whether it’s just having someone to talk to who understands the challenges of running a business, or forming partnerships that help each other grow, Business Buzz is here to help and one of the best networking groups in Stevenage.

The best part? Business Buzz is open to everyone. There are no membership fees, no restrictions on professions, and it’s an inclusive space where everyone is welcome. We believe in the power of community and the benefits of working together, and we’re excited to see what great things can come from these meetings.

1st October: Stevenage Borough Council Event for Older People

Looking ahead, we’re pleased to share that we’ve been invited to attend an event organised by Stevenage Borough Council on October 1st. This event is focused on older people in our community. While we’re still awaiting more details, we know that it will be a valuable opportunity to connect with and support our older residents, and how caring for old people in Stevenage should be a priority.

4th October: Stevenage Community Trust

John Greenall is a Trustee of the Stevenage Community Trust, one of the main charities in Stevenage and will be working hard during September on the annual dinner dance which will be held on the 4th October.

Our Commitment to the Community

We’re deeply committed to our community. Whether through our social media efforts, business networking, or attending local events, we strive to make a positive impact wherever we can. We believe in the strength of working together, and we’re excited about the opportunities that the coming months will bring.

Stay tuned to our social media channels for updates, tips, and more information about our upcoming events. Let’s make this Autumn one to remember!
