The Stevenage Together Awards was a night filled with excitement and appreciation for community heroes at the Gordon Craig Theatre! Hosted by Jay Drackford and featuring fantastic entertainment from Shades of Midnight, the event celebrated outstanding contributions in Stevenage. Love Stevenage was delighted to attend by invitation from Mayor Jim Brown and sends a big thank you to all sponsors and organisers.

The New Stevenage Business Award was awarded to Geek Retreat and its founder, Dan Sullivan, for creating a welcoming hub for fans of games, comics, and pop culture, bringing something fresh and exciting to the Stevenage business scene.
The Environment Award went to Tony Gillard, recognised for his dedication to sustainability and his efforts to make Stevenage greener, inspiring the community to care for their local environment.
The STEM Award was presented to the STEM Discovery Centre, which has been a cornerstone for science and technology education in Stevenage, offering hands-on learning experiences that spark curiosity in young minds.
For promoting health and mental wellbeing, Stephen Sapsed received the Wellbeing Award. His commitment to enhancing community welfare has made a lasting impact on the lives of many in Stevenage.
The Sporting Award was given to Danika Williams, whose passion and dedication in the sports community has encouraged active participation and physical wellness among residents.
Rising star Ben Galbraith took home the Rising Star Award, celebrating his impressive achievements and potential as an inspiring young leader in the Stevenage community.
The Caring Award was awarded to Dawn Sheldrick, recognised for her compassionate work and efforts to support and uplift others, making a meaningful difference in countless lives.
The Team Award went to the Health Play Specialists, a team dedicated to supporting young patients in healthcare settings, offering invaluable support to families and children during challenging times.
For her longstanding dedication to community service, Brenda Brown earned the Community Champion Award, known for her unwavering commitment to supporting and improving the Stevenage community.
The Lifetime Award was jointly awarded to Margaret and David Crawley, honouring their decades-long contributions to Stevenage, symbolising the strength and spirit of community service.
Finally, the Judges’ Special Award recognised Stevenage Parkrun for its role in fostering health, social connection, and community spirit through its weekly runs, welcoming participants of all ages and abilities.
