Stevenage Homebuyers Searching for Stress-Free Move as Local Market Heats Up

New research from premium housebuilder Redrow has revealed homeowners are set to get moving over the summer. Over one in five (21%) homeowners in the region are planning to list their property over the summer, with a further 30% saying they’re not happy in their current home. When it comes to making the move, the cost of moving is holding back over a quarter (28%) from listing their home, alongside stamp duty (25%) while over one in ten (16%) say the difficulty and stress of moving homes is putting them off.

Redrow Eastern is making it easier than ever for homebuyers to find a home they love this summer, hosting Open Home events at their most popular developments on 26th and 27th July.  The team will be throwing open the doors to a number of Readymade homes at The Foxgloves in Silver End, Hazel Park in Stevenage, Blossom Park in Ingatestone and Hendricks Green in Goffs Oak. As well as being ideal for hosting friends and family and highly energy efficient to help homeowners save on energy bills, each of the homes’ interiors have been designed by Redrow’s expert in-house interior design team.

The homes are perfectly suited for homebuyers who want a stress-free move. As well as avoiding costly upgrades that might be required when buying a second-hand home, Redrow is also offering flooring and Stamp Duty Contributions and up to 5% Deposit Contribution on select properties. Their Part Exchange scheme is also on offer, providing a faster move with no chains, estate agent fees or last-minute surprises are involved.

Jody Bryant, Sales Director at Redrow Eastern said “We know that timing is everything when it comes to selling your home and moving on. If you’re a homebuyer in Essex who is looking to conquer their fear of moving on, we’d recommend checking out our Readymade homes. As well as taking the stress and time out of moving, they offer beautiful, interior designed spaces that are ready to enjoy right away. Whether it’s hosting summer gatherings or simply settling in sooner, we’re helping buyers make the most of the season in a home they’ll love from day one.”

Redrow Eastern will be hosting open day events on the 26th and 27th July from 10am-5:30pm, where interested buyers can walk through the Readymade homes that are ready for occupancy. Buyers will have the chance to explore the homes, learn about available buying options, and speak with Redrow’s expert sales team about the buying process. The events will run across the Westley Green, Blossom Park, Hazel Park, Hendricks Green, Millview Park, The Foxgloves and Mandeville Crescent developments.
