Step into Spring with Free Health Walks in Stevenage & North Herts

We’re thrilled to share some exciting news to help you stay active, meet new people, and enjoy the great outdoors – three brand new free Health Walks are launching this spring across North Herts and Stevenage!

Whether you’re looking to ease into gentle exercise or simply enjoy a stroll with others in the community, these taster walks are a brilliant way to get started. Plus, they’re completely free and open to all abilities — so why not grab a friend, lace up your comfy shoes, and give it a go?

Here’s what’s coming up:

🗓️ Wednesday, 2 April at 10am

📍 St George’s Church, Common View, Letchworth Garden City, SG6 1DA
🟢 Grade 1 Walk (up to 40 minutes)
A relaxed walk for those who can comfortably walk and talk with few breaks. Expect a steady pace, gentle hills, and no stiles. Perfect for beginners!

🗓️ Wednesday, 7 May at 2pm

📍 North Herts Museum, 14 Brand Street, Hitchin, SG5 1JE
🟢🟡 Grade 1–2 Walk (up to 45 minutes)
Slightly more challenging but still beginner-friendly, this walk offers a great chance to stretch your legs and explore Hitchin’s town centre in good company.

📍 The Lamex Stadium, Stevenage FC, Broadhall Way, Stevenage SG2 8RH

Whether you’re just starting out or ready for a longer route, there’s something for everyone at this fun, flexible event. Families are warmly welcome, so feel free to bring the kids along too!
