Old Town Greeting Card Shop Cardies Nominated for Prestigious Reta Award

Cardies Greeting Card Shop has achieved a significant milestone. They are delighted to announce that they have been nominated for the prestigious Retas awards. The nomination recognises their contributions to the community in the Retail Initiative category, a testament to their dedication and hard work.

“You might wonder what makes our little shop stand out” says founder Jo Sorrell, “It’s not just about selling cards. We’re deeply involved in community activities. Our shop has become a hub for creativity and community spirit.”

The Retas awards celebrate the UK’s very best greeting card retailers. These awards are highly regarded in the industry, shining a spotlight on shops that go above and beyond. Being nominated is an honour, placing us among the elite in greeting card retail.

Jo Sorrell, the owner of Cardies is the driving force behind many initiatives which contributed to them being shortlisted.  Jo believes in the power of community and the importance of staying connected. She often says, “It’s not just about cards; it’s about bringing people together and making our community a better place.”
