Stevenage’s much-loved amateur theatre group, the Lytton Players, are lighting up the stage once again – this time with their lively production of the classic musical Godspell.
Performed at the Lytton Theatre on Vardon Road, this energetic show brings together local talent for a colourful, feel-good performance packed with well-known songs, dance, and lots of heart. Godspell, which first wowed audiences back in the 1970s, tells the story of Jesus and his followers through a series of parables, all set to catchy, uplifting music.
The Lytton Players have been part of Stevenage’s arts scene for over 75 years, offering a fantastic platform for performers of all ages and experience levels. Their productions are always a highlight in the local events calendar, and Godspell is no exception.
Lytton Players said: “We’ve had such fun bringing this timeless show to life. Our cast and crew have worked so hard, and we can’t wait to share it with the Stevenage community.”
The show runs from 20th to 24th May 2025, and tickets are available now – perfect for a fun evening out with friends or family.
