The Stevenage Summer Health Walks Timetable (May–August 2025) is now live!
We’re inviting everyone – patients, clients, service users, family, friends, and neighbours – to take a step towards a healthier lifestyle by joining our brilliant walks. It’s a perfect way to get a bit more active, enjoy the fresh air, and meet new people.
And there’s even more reason to get involved this May, as it’s National Walking Month! To celebrate, we’re thrilled to announce two exciting new walk opportunities right here in Stevenage.
Special Event: Mass Health Walk at Stevenage Football Club
We’re partnering with Stevenage FC Foundation to bring you a one-off, FREE taster walk at The Lamex Stadium.

📍 Location: Meet in the car park to the left of the driveway, Broadhall Way, Stevenage, SG2 8RH
📅 Date: Wednesday, 7th May 2025
🕠 Time: 5:30pm
Walk Options:
- First Steps / Grade 1 (Gentle pace)
- Grade 2 (Moderate pace)
- Grade 3 (Faster pace)
After the walk, stay for a friendly cuppa with the group — the perfect way to wind down and have a chat!
New Weekly Walk: Stevenage Library
We’re also introducing a brand-new Grade 2 taster walk from Stevenage Library in the Town Centre.
📍 Location: Meet outside Stevenage Library, Southgate, SG1 1HD
📅 Day: Every Thursday
🕑 Time: 2:00pm
Walk Options:
- Grade 1 Walk (30 minutes) — Suitable for all, including pushchairs
- NEW Grade 2 Walk (45 minutes) — A bit more of a challenge!
After the walk, join us inside for a free cuppa (donations welcome).
Celebrating Our Success
We’re proud to share that our First Steps and Grade 1 walks will be featured as part of Hertfordshire County Council’s “It’s Never Too Late 2025” campaign.
This fantastic project aims to inspire inactive adults across Hertfordshire to start moving, feel more confident, boost their wellbeing, and make new community connections.
