A special screening of Here We Go Round the Mulberry Bush has helped raise hundreds of pounds for the Mayor of Stevenage’s chosen charities. The iconic 1967 film, starring Judy Geeson and Barry Evans, was originally shot in Stevenage, making it a perfect choice for a nostalgic evening celebrating the town’s history.

Held as a fundraising event, the evening also featured a lively speed quiz with 50 questions focused on 1967, 1968, and the world during that era. Attendees tested their knowledge of Stevenage’s past while enjoying a trip down memory lane.

The event successfully brought the community together, raising vital funds for local causes and highlighting Stevenage’s connection to British cinema history.
