Studio 42, owned by Becky, is a delightful shop located in Oaks Cross, Stevenage. Since opening just eight months ago, Becky has worked hard to make her shop a welcoming space for the community. She stocks a variety of products made by local businesses, giving other small businesses a chance to shine. Studio 42 also runs workshops throughout the year, offering fun activities and learning opportunities for everyone.
Becky is passionate about bringing people together and supporting her local area. She says she’s been overwhelmed by the support she has received from customers since the shop opened. “I’m so grateful to everyone who has supported Studio 42. It means the world to me,” she said with a smile.
This Christmas, Studio 42 won the Best Dressed Christmas Window competition, and it’s no surprise why. Becky put a lot of effort into decorating the window, hand-painting it with care and creativity. Her design was so beautiful that even the shop next door asked her to decorate their window too!
Becky received lots of compliments and kind comments from customers and passers-by about her festive display. Feeling proud of her work, she decided to enter the competition—and she was thrilled to win. “It’s such an honour to be recognised,” Becky said. “I’m so happy people loved the window. It means so much to me.”
