Willow was established in 1999 by former Arsenal goalkeeper and TV presenter, Bob Wilson, and his wife, Megs, in honour of their daughter, Anna, who passed away from cancer at the age of 31.
Throughout her five-year battle with cancer, Anna, alongside her family and friends, shared some of their most cherished moments together. These occasions, which Anna referred to as her ‘Special Days,’ served as a sanctuary for enjoying quality time and enhancing the quality of life. They offered a much-needed respite from the harsh realities of living with a life-threatening illness, bringing a semblance of normality back into their lives.
