Lodge Farm Primary School is a two-form entry primary school which admits up to 60 children into each year group.
Children are normally admitted into the nursery class in the September following their third birthday and move on to primary school (Reception) the next September. Parents are required to apply online for a Nursery place.
Attending the nursery does not guarantee a place in the main school and parents would need to apply for a primary school place at a later date.
More information and details of the application process for Nursery and Reception places can be found on our own admissions page or via the school office.
All children coming to the school in September are invited to a ‘settling in’ day in the summer term where they spend the morning with their new teacher, try a school dinner and spend playtime and lunchtime with their new class. All parents whose children are starting at the school in Nursery or Reception in September are invited to a meeting in the Summer term.
The new Nursery and Reception intake meeting takes place during the day. For those starting in Nursery and Reception there is a staggered entry into their new classes to support them as they take this big step.
