Garden House Hospice Care provides free specialist palliative care for patients, families and carers facing life limiting illnesses from across North Hertfordshire, Stevenage and towns and villages in Central Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire, serving a population of around 260,000 people.
Working with our medical team of highly experienced doctors and nurses, we have specialists in a wide range of roles including complementary physiotherapy, bereavement, occupational therapy, complementary therapy and spiritual care.
It costs us £7.7m a year to provide our services, and although we receive some funding from the NHS, we need to raise £15,300 every day in charitable income and greatly rely on the support of the community – local businesses, groups and individuals to help fund our work. We also rely on the support of our fantastic volunteers to help us deliver our services.
