Independent Living Cleaner – Stevenage

We are currently looking for reliable candidates with own car clean driving licence to join our Client’s Independent Living Cleaning Team based in Stevenage. On a 3 month contract.

To be successful within this role you will need to be.

• Responsible for the cleaning in all shared areas or communal facilities in accordance with the cleaning schedule for that building to agreed standards e.g. floors, furniture, equipment, laundry, office, guest bedrooms, short stay accommodation. Refuse and recycling areas.
• Cleaning common areas (including carpets) within buildings including fixtures and fittings, internal glass, lifts, notice boards etc.
• Respond to reactive requirements to ensure the health safety of residents is maintained within communal areas of buildings, this could include hazardous materials and fluids, using appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.
• Provide appropriate assistance to residents and colleagues dealing with emergency situations

• Physically fit
• Reliable
• Live in, or within a commutable distance from Stevenage.
• Have a valid driving license – be over 23 years for Insurance

Working hours: 8am-4pm @ £11.79 per hour, possible overtime at weekends.
